• Start with a through wall D

• When installing J Trim, A
install bottom J first(B),
making sure the trim runs
past the window the width C
of the J Trim on both sides.
• Install the sides(C), makes C C C
sure to extend the trim
above the drip end dams
and below the window the B
width of the J Trim. B
• Install the top J Trim(D)
following the diagram
below.
• Notch top J trim to allow
water to drain down onto
drip flashing.

• Bottom of wall drip flashing
is installed to the sides of
the doors with appropriate
height end dams(B). C C C C
• Install the sides(C), makes
sure to extend the trim
above the drip end dams
the width of the J Trim.
